Concept
Gaufres & Waffles reinvents one of the most gastronomic treasures in Brussels culture - the Brussels Waffle (available in a savoury version). At Gaufres & Waffles, the waffle is no longer seen as a dessert or a snack, but as a real meal. And what a delicacy! Each recipe was created personally by chef Yves Mattagne (Sea Grill**) who has added a special ingredient – his passion to developing the menu.
Story
Behind this concept you’ll find two young men, who are familiar with food concepts: Sebastien Mattagne and Michael Chiche. Both graduated at European Communication School, trained at Hakuna Matata and are involved with the ‘Dinner in the Sky’ concept. In terms of management they can count on the experience of David Ghysels (Hakuna Matata and Dinner in the Sky).

Fresh dough prepared daily
The recipe for the dough was created by Yves Mattagne, respecting an artisanal recipe, and is freshly produced daily in our kitchen.
